PHYSICAL SCIENCE CLUB
Established in 2015, the Physical Science Club of KM College of Teacher Education
serves as a dynamic platform for nurturing scientific temper, creativity, and innovation
among student teachers. Under the guidance of Bencila Rose Sunny, Assistant Professor
in Physical Science, the club regularly organizes Science Day celebrations,
science-oriented activities, awareness programmes, exhibitions, and interactive learning
initiatives that promote scientific thinking and experiential learning
COMMERCE CLUB
Established in 2006, the Commerce Club of KM College of Teacher Education provides
a vibrant platform for developing entrepreneurial skills, financial awareness, and
professional competence among student teachers. Under the guidance of Vilma K. M.,
Assistant Professor in Commerce, the club organizes Commerce Day celebrations,
business-oriented activities, seminars, interactive sessions, and awareness programmes
that encourage creativity, leadership, and practical understanding of commerce and
economics.
SOCIAL SCIENCE CLUB
Established in 2003, the Social Science Club of KM College of Teacher Education
functions as an active forum for promoting social awareness, civic responsibility, and
critical understanding of contemporary issues among student teachers. Under the
guidance of Mohammed Shafi P., Assistant Professor, the club organizes Social Science
Day celebrations, awareness programmes, seminars, field-based activities, and
discussions that encourage social commitment, democratic values, and experiential
learning.
LANGUAGE CLUB
Established in 2015, the Language Club of KM College of Teacher Education functions as a creative platform for enhancing linguistic skills, literary appreciation, and communication abilities among student teachers. Under the guidance of Sameera K. K., Assistant Professor, the club organizes English and Malayalam language activities, book talks, Writers’ Day celebrations, literary programmes, and interactive sessions that promote reading culture, creativity, and effective communication.
PSYCHOLOGY CLUB
Established in 2003, the Psychology Club of KM College of Teacher Education serves as
a supportive platform for promoting mental well-being, personality development, and
understanding of learner behaviour among student teachers. Under the guidance of
Fathima Sana, Assistant Professor, the club organizes counselling sessions, aptitude tests,
awareness programmes, motivational activities, and interactive sessions that foster
emotional balance, self-awareness, and holistic development.

CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL
Established in 2003, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of KM College of Teacher
Education functions as a dedicated support system for guiding student teachers towards
professional excellence and career opportunities. Under the guidance of Ratheesh A. P.,
Assistant Professor, the cell regularly organizes placement drives, career orientation
programmes, interview training sessions, and guidance for competitive examinations,
helping students successfully transition into the teaching profession every year.
WOMEN’ S WELFARE CENTRE
The Women’s Welfare Centre of KM College of Teacher Education functions as an
active platform for promoting women empowerment, well-being, leadership, and gender
awareness among students. Under the guidance of Vilma K. M., Assistant Professor, the
centre organizes awareness programmes, counselling sessions, health initiatives, skill
development activities, and empowerment programmes that encourage confidence,
equality, and holistic development.
