NSS Unit No. 270 of K M College of Teacher Education observed World Ozone Day with the objective of creating awareness among student teachers about the importance of the ozone layer and the need for environmental protection.
The programme was coordinated by Suhaira, First Year B.Ed. student and Student Coordinator. As part of the celebration, a Quiz Competition and Poster Making Competition were organized, encouraging students to creatively explore environmental issues and understand the importance of ozone-layer protection.
The programme began with a welcome address by Suhaira. Mohammed Shafi P, NSS Programme Officer, presided over the programme. Vilma K M delivered the felicitation, followed by Ratheesh A P, Staff Secretary. Bencila Rose Sunny proposed the vote of thanks.
The World Ozone Day programme provided an engaging platform for student participation and environmental learning. It reinforced the message that protecting the ozone layer is a shared responsibility towards building a healthier and more sustainable future.
